Starter prompt — not tested yet. Written carefully for Runway, but NOT tested by us yet. Enhance or edit it for your needs — it is here to help you start. When we run it, this page gains a real run log and the Tested badge.
Works as a first-frame image-to-video job too: generate the dawn still, then animate it with the second half of this prompt.
Platform notes
Aerials suit Runway because the entire frame moves coherently — there is no single subject to keep consistent, so the model's biggest weakness never gets a chance to show.
The camera gets ONE continuous move (forward + descend, a single gesture). Stacking a pan or a roll on top gets averaged into mush.
Enhance: the crossing elements (boat wake, gulls) are parallax machines — they are what make the altitude readable. Remove them and the shot feels like a zoom on a postcard.

Aerial establishing shot: a lighthouse on rocky cliffs at dawn, waves breaking white against the rocks, a fishing boat crossing the lower frame and leaving a wake. The camera flies forward and descends slowly toward the lighthouse; gulls cross the lens. Soft pink and gold sky, photorealistic.
